He directed officials to fix responsibility for any undue delay and ensure the projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe through strict monitoring of progress. The Deputy Chief Minister also ordered a detailed quality check of the ongoing works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications and engineering standards.

According to officials, the two bridges, BR-1 and BR-2, each have a span of 181.60 metres and are being constructed on the T01–Dhalote via Talour road. BR-1 is located between RD 0/200 and RD 0/300, while BR-2 falls between RD 3/010 and RD 3/180.

The sanctioned cost of BR-1 is ₹2,365.87 lakh, while BR-2 has been allotted ₹2,429.45 lakh.

Choudhary asked officers to submit a report detailing the factors affecting progress and ensure that bottlenecks are addressed without further delay. He said connectivity projects of public importance should be completed in a time-bound manner while maintaining construction quality.
