SRINAGAR: Advocate Gowhar Hussain Wani, who is also the District President of Apni Party in Shopian, has been re-elected as president of the District Bar Association Shopian.
Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari congratulated Wani on his re-election and described it as recognition of his professional competence, leadership qualities and integrity.
In a post on X, Bukhari said he wished Wani success in his professional and public life and expressed confidence that he would continue to serve people in his capacities as a lawyer and political leader.
Wani currently serves as Apni Party’s district president for Shopian. The details of the Bar Association election were not immediately available.
