TANGMARG: MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah on Tuesday visited several areas of his constituency to review development works, participate in a skill development programme and interact with local residents.
During the visit, Shah inaugurated a newly constructed office building of the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), R&B Division Kunzer, built at a cost of ₹25 lakh.
He also attended a certificate distribution programme at Government Degree College Chandilora, Tangmarg, where students who completed training under the Hunar Se Rozgar initiative were awarded certificates. The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Srinagar.
As part of his tour, the MLA inspected ongoing work on the Hardshoora and Kralpora–Kampora road projects and reviewed progress on the ground. He directed the executing agencies to maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of the works.
Shah also visited Qazipora, Treran and Yaal to meet families who had recently suffered bereavements.
Later, at Mangloora, he met public delegations and heard issues and demands raised by residents. He assured them that their concerns would be taken up with the relevant departments for redressal.
The tour focused on reviewing infrastructure projects, assessing local development needs and interacting with residents across different parts of the Gulmarg constituency.
