BUDGAM: A 17-year-old boy died after being hit by a truck in the Wathwora area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday, officials said.

Officials said the teenager sustained serious injuries in the accident and was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Chadoora for treatment.

However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

The deceased was identified as Mohd Faheem Teli (17), son of Mushtaq Ahmad Teli, a resident of Wathwora, Chadoora.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
