Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday said the successful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 reflected the coordinated efforts of multiple agencies, noting that nearly 4.8 lakh pilgrims visited the cave shrine during the 57-day pilgrimage.
In a post on X, Sinha said nearly 4.8 lakh pilgrims had paid obeisance at the Amarnath cave shrine during the 57-day pilgrimage.
The Lieutenant Governor acknowledged the contributions of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), civil administration, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Border Roads Organisation (BRO), medical teams and service providers involved in managing the Yatra.
Describing the pilgrimage as a collective effort, Sinha said the successful conduct of the Yatra was the result of coordinated work by various agencies and personnel deployed along the route.
“The success belongs to Team Jammu and Kashmir,” Sinha said, while expressing gratitude to all those associated with the arrangements for the annual pilgrimage.
