SRINAGAR: Rohit Bhat, Festival Director of the Jammu Film Festival (JFF), and Kupwara MLA Mir Mohammad Fayaz separately called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Bhat briefed the Lieutenant Governor about the fifth edition of the Jammu Film Festival, scheduled to be held in Jammu on September 28 and 29.
Officials said the festival has received 210 film submissions from 35 countries. Following the selection process, 41 films from 16 countries have been shortlisted for screening. In addition, 12 films from Jammu and Kashmir will be showcased in a special regional section.
In a separate meeting, Mir Mohammad Fayaz, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Kupwara, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
