SRINAGAR: A 42-year-old man was found dead in the Dughwan forest area on the outskirts of Srinagar on Friday, officials said.
An official said the body was recovered from the forest area and taken to PHC Harwan, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Lateef, son of Mohammad Aalam, a resident of Thugla in Rajouri district.
The body was later shifted to SMHS Hospital for medico-legal formalities and further examination.
Police have initiated an investigation and further proceedings are underway. (KNO)
