PDP reviews organisational affairs in Anantnag, Kulgam

Srinagar: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday reviewed its organisational structure and public outreach in Anantnag and Kulgam districts at a meeting held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

The meeting was chaired by the party’s General Secretary (Organisation), Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, and attended by Parliamentary Board Chairman Abdul Rehman Veeri, General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Aalam, senior leader Iltija Mufti, Additional General Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, former minister Abdul Gaffar Sofi, district presidents and other party office-bearers, according to a PDP statement.

The leaders discussed measures to strengthen the party’s grassroots organisation, improve coordination among different units and enhance public outreach in the two south Kashmir districts.

The meeting also reviewed the political situation in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the statement, the participants expressed concern over issues affecting the people and reiterated the party’s commitment to raising public grievances and safeguarding the rights and interests of the people.

The party leadership urged office-bearers and constituency in-charges to remain connected with the public and strengthen the organisation at all levels, the statement added
