Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Wani gave a presentation on the progress of Jamabandi digitisation, grievance redressal, grievance camps, backlog mutations, the JK Zameen Sudhaar portal, Digital Crop Survey, geo-referencing, BhuNaksha, paperless registration, the SVAMITVA scheme, AgriStack integration and other implementation issues.

During the meeting, District Mentor Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza directed revenue officials to complete all pending Jamabandis within the timeline fixed by the Chief Secretary. He also instructed officers to accord priority to public grievance redressal and ensure transparent and time-bound disposal of quasi-judicial cases.

Emphasising the importance of accurate and reliable digital land records, Mirza said transparency, accountability and precision should remain the guiding principles of the digitisation process.

Deputy Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib urged field-level revenue officials to work in close coordination and adhere to prescribed timelines to ensure that the benefits of digital land records reach citizens without delay.

An interactive session was also held during which the District Mentor addressed technical and procedural queries raised by revenue officers regarding implementation of the programme.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Zaffar Husson Shawl, ACR Shabir Ahmad Wani, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and other concerned officials.
