The month-long religious congregation, which commenced on May 17, has been witnessing participation from devotees arriving from different parts of the country. Pilgrims are visiting the revered shrine, including the Holy Temple and the nearby sacred river, to offer prayers, perform traditional rituals and pay obeisance.

During the visit, Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat participated in the religious observances alongside devotees and interacted with pilgrims at the venue.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner said the sacred site has long served as a symbol of brotherhood, communal harmony and the region’s shared cultural heritage. He appreciated the spirit of unity among the people and urged all stakeholders to continue preserving the area’s rich religious and cultural traditions.

The DC also reviewed the arrangements put in place for the congregation and directed the concerned departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted provision of all essential facilities for devotees. He instructed officials to make every effort to facilitate a safe, comfortable and hassle-free pilgrimage experience.

Observing that the Holy Adhikmas Kumbh is not only an important religious event but also an opportunity to showcase the district’s hospitality, Dr. Bilal said efforts should be made to ensure pilgrims leave with pleasant and lasting memories of their visit.

He stressed the need for all arrangements to remain fully functional on the ground and directed officers to maintain close monitoring of services throughout the event.

Reiterating the district administration’s commitment to the successful conduct of the congregation, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all departments to remain vigilant, address grievances promptly and provide the best possible facilities to devotees during their stay.

He also called for close coordination among government departments, the Shri Martand Tirath Trust and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth culmination of the Holy Adhikmas Kumbh.

Devotees expressed gratitude to the district administration for the arrangements and support being provided during the religious event.
