Jammu: Sat Sharma on Saturday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s strong organisational structure, disciplined cadre and nationalist ideology have made it the world’s largest political party.
Sharma was addressing a district-level training camp organised by BJP District Kashmir Displaced under the ongoing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan–2026. He was accompanied by District President Rajeev Pandita.
The programme was attended by former MLC and BJP spokesperson Girdhari Lal Raina, District Prabhari Chand Ji, Seh Prabhari Hira Lal Bhat, district office bearers, mandal presidents, general secretaries, morcha representatives and grassroots workers.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma elaborated on the history, philosophy and growth of the BJP, stating that the party is not merely a political organisation but a nationalist movement inspired by the ideals of cultural nationalism, good governance and service to society.
He said the BJP’s transformation from a small ideological force into the world’s largest political party reflects the dedication, sacrifices and commitment of its cadre.
“The strength of the BJP lies in its ideology, disciplined organisational structure and committed workers who remain connected with the aspirations of the common people,” Sharma said.
He urged party activists to strengthen their grassroots engagement and ensure that welfare initiatives and development schemes launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reach every deserving beneficiary.
Sharma said that while many political parties thrive on dynastic politics, appeasement and divisive agendas, the BJP has consistently worked with the objective of nation-building and public welfare.
He asserted that people across the country have repeatedly reposed faith in the BJP because of its transparent governance, development-oriented policies and commitment to national interests.
Highlighting developments in Jammu and Kashmir, Sharma said the Union Territory has witnessed significant progress in infrastructure and public welfare under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He called upon party workers to effectively communicate these achievements to every section of society.
Other senior BJP leaders also addressed various sessions of the training programme and stressed organisational unity, public service, ideological commitment and strengthening the party structure at the booth level.
They urged party workers to remain actively engaged with the masses and contribute towards expanding the party’s reach and influence across Jammu and Kashmir.
