SHOPIAN, JULY 30: – The Social Welfare Department district Shopian in collaboration with District Administration Shopian today organised a programme for distribution of TVS motoriised tricycle among specially-abled beneficiaries here at Mini Secretriat Arhama Shopian.
On the occasion, 10 TVS motorised tricycles were distributed among various specially-abled persons including three women beneficiaries.
Among others the programmed was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, District Social Welfare Officer, besides other district Officers, beneficiaries and other citizens were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion District Development Commissioner said that specially-abled persons /child deserve equal care as any other persons/children for their growth and development. He further said that by providing opportunities and proper facilities to specially-abled persons/children can realize their dreams and aspirations.
