Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau has filed a chargesheet against 11 accused persons, including officials of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation, in connection with a case involving alleged violations of building permission norms.
According to officials, the chargesheet was presented before the Court of Additional Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar in FIR No. 24/2020, registered under relevant provisions of the J&K Prevention of Corruption Act and the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC).
The case pertains to the construction of six illegal structures at Jawhar Nagar, Gonikhan, Hari Singh High Street and Wazir Bagh areas of Srinagar without obtaining valid building permissions from the competent authority.
