Srinagar: MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah on Tuesday chaired public grievance redressal darbars at Kunzer and Tangmarg areas of Baramulla district, where he listened to issues and concerns raised by local residents.

People from various localities participated in the meetings and highlighted problems related to basic amenities, including road connectivity, drinking water supply, electricity, healthcare facilities and other developmental requirements. Residents appreciated the opportunity to directly present their grievances before the elected representative.

The MLA heard the complaints patiently and assured the public that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt and effective resolution. He reiterated his commitment to the overall development of the constituency and said public welfare remains his top priority.

During the interaction, several residents thanked Shah for his timely response during the winter season, particularly amid recent snowfall, and appreciated his coordination with departments to restore essential services and road connectivity during harsh weather conditions.

The public darbar concluded with an assurance from the MLA of continued engagement with the people and regular follow-up on the matters raised.
