BJP engages with citizens through 129th edition of “Mann Ki Baat” at 5000 booths

Jammu/Kashmir: Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by its senior leadership, actively participated in the 129th edition of the popular monthly programme “Mann Ki Baat” hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

The broadcast, which reaches citizens across the nation through All India Radio, Doordarshan, and digital platforms, was heard at more than 5,000 booth venues across the region, reflecting the BJP leadership’s commitment to listening to the voice of the nation and engaging with the public on current issues.

J&K BJP President & MP (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma, accompanied by MLA Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat, former minister Sham Choudhary, District Prabhari Rajinder Singh Chib, and District President Rinku Choudhary, and others listened to Mann Ki Baat at Gharana Wetland in Suchetgarh.

J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul listened to Mann Ki Baat at the Nideesh Enclave Residents Welfare Association flats in Channi Rama. District President Naresh Singh Jasrotia and MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa was also present on this occasion.

Sat Sharma, while addressing the programme, praised the programme as a bridge between the government and citizens, stating that Mann Ki Baat provides us a unique platform to collectively reflect on our nation’s achievements and chart a path forward. It is especially relevant today as Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s remarkable accomplishments in 2025, from national security and innovation to youth empowerment and cultural pride. This broadcast brings us together in a spirit of unity, progress, and public participation, he said.

Sat Sharma said, “Mann Ki Baat has been a cornerstone of direct communication between the Prime Minister and citizens since its inception, fostering a shared sense of purpose, national pride, and collective resolve to build a more prosperous and inclusive nation.”

Ashok Koul emphasised the importance of such initiatives by saying that the Mann Ki Baat continues to resonate with every citizen because it not only highlights national successes but also inspires collective action at the grassroots. From celebrating India’s youth and technological achievements to reinforcing values of unity and pride, this programme remains deeply relevant in motivating our people for the future, he added.
