Two students of SP College secure 4th position in Traffic Hackathon-2022

SRINAGAR: Two students from the Department of Information Technology, SP College Srinagar namely Mohammad Sabeel Lone and Sobaan Rafi Bhat from UG 3rd semester secured fourth position in Traffic Hackathon-2022, ‘Swift City Safe City’ organized by Traffic Headquarters J&K in collaboration with NIT Srinagar and IIT Jammu.

They had submitted their idea on the theme ‘Parking Management system following System approach for the city’.

The aim of this Hackathon was based on the genesis of obtaining technology-related promising ideas from students, faculties, experts, computer science-related innovators, and idea generators where technology and regulatory traffic issues can be addressed through innovative methods.

The Principal of the college, Dr. Ghulam Jeelani Qurashi, IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Sadiq Majeed and the Head of the Department of IT, Prof. Zarka Malik congratulated the students for receiving the awards and the cash prize.
