“We have made our road map clear in terms of our demand for the restoration of full statehood of Jammu and Kashmir along with the provisions of Articles 370 and 35-A of the constitution among the seven resolutions passed by the National Conference a few months ago. We will continue fighting for our rights democratically, constitutionally and peacefully. Restoration of full statehood along with Articles 370 and 35-A is in the larger interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the country. It is aimed at unity, integrity, peace, progress and communal harmony. It is also imperative to safeguard the jobs and land of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the people of Jammu and Kashmir which is only possible with the restoration of the pre-August 5, 2019 situation,” he said.

Sagar asked the people to stand united and “strengthen Dr. Farooq’s voice for the success of his struggle in support of the restoration of special status guaranteed by the Constitution and safeguard the identity and honour of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”

Among others party’s YNC, Parent body, Women’s wing, Media functionaries, and minority wing functionaries were also present on the occasion.
