Srinagar: A Budgam resident has been arrested for cheating students by promising them admission in an MBBS course in Iran, police said today.
“A fraudster Syed Abas Shah S/o Syed Yousuf Shah R/o wahabpora Budgam running educational consultancy ‘Dr Minds’ at parraypora arrested for cheating/forgery with students promising MBBS admission in Iran in lieu of payment. FIR no. 65/2023 u/sections 468,420 of IPC in sadder PS,” said the Srinagar Police, in a tweet.
