BARAMULLA: A man died after the tractor he was driving skidded off the road and overturned near Jama Masjid Razikiya in Chandoosa area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday, officials said.
According to eyewitnesses, the tractor was travelling from Nowgam towards Chandoosa when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and overturn.
The driver sustained critical injuries in the accident and was immediately shifted to Community Health Centre (CHC) Chandoosa, where he later succumbed to injuries.
The deceased was identified as Waseem Ahmad Khan, son of Mohammad Shareef Khan, a resident of Laridoora.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings.
