Srinagar: Police on Tuesday said it has arrested two drug-peddlers in Baramulla and recovered psychotropic substances from their possession in Baramulla district.
During routine checking near Khanpora bridge in Baramulla, police arrested two drug-peddlers — Bilal Ahmad Shiekh, son of Ghulam Hassan Shiekh of Zehanpora Boniyar, and Javaid Rashid Bhat alias Izhar, son of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Mohalla Mir Sahib Baramulla, presently residing at Drangbal Baramulla, police said.
During search, 1470 tablets of Spasmoproxivan were recovered from their possession. They have been shifted to police station where they remain in custody, police said.
