Srinagar: A tipper driver died after the vehicle he was driving skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge at Sumbal Balla locality of Gund area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday.
Quoting official sources, news agency KNO reported that the tipper (JK02AF-5585) fell into a deep gorge, resulting in on-spot death of the driver identified as Javaid Ahmad Baba, 38, son of Mohammad Maqbool Baba of Fraw Gund area of the district.
A police officer said that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
