“Bilal ended his life by slitting his throat around 10:30 AM with a knife in the kitchen garden at maternal home (nearly 100 meters away from his home). He was a skilled mechanic by profession and used to repair mobile phones, inverters, and other electronic gadgets without any kind of training or professional course,” locals said while appreciating his mechanical skills.

According to his brother Hilal Ahmad Bhat, in the morning Bilal went to his maternal home, where he went into the kitchen garden and slit his own throat with a knife.

Soon after the incidents, the locals rushed him to the GMC Baramulla where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Later, the FSL team (Forensic Science Laboratory) arrived at the crime spot and collect the samples, and sent them for testing

After the post-mortem and the rest of the investigation, the police handed over the body to the family for last rites.

As per his family, Bilal was having some issues related to his mental health.
