The Minister asked the officials to continue to work with same spirit and zeal adding that the department has a pivotal role in guiding the government towards efficient and productive use of its limited resources.

“I appreciate your expertise as despite limited resources, you are helping the state well to handle and meet the expenses,” the Minister added.

Responding to the issues raised by the officials, the Minister said that the government is committed to meet the aspirations of the employees. He said implementation of 7th pay commission recommendations bear testimony to it.

The Minister also appreciated executing agency Jammu and Kashmir Industry Limited – a state government undertaking- for exceptionally good work while developing the hi-tech conference hall for the department.

Earlier, Principal Secretary Finance, Naveen Choudhary gave a detailed resume of steps taken for upgrading the infrastructure at the finance complex for the ease of working of the departmental functionaries.
