DC Jammu launches Online Portal for live DDC Election Results

JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sushma Chauhan today launched a dedicated portal http:/jammuddcresults.in for dissemination of election results to the general public on near real time basis.

The portal will facilitate online round wise results, leading candidate details as well as details of winning candidates.

The portal was launched in presence of political representatives at a meeting convened by Deputy Commissioner Jammu for briefing the candidates and political representatives about the DDC elections counting process, to be held tomorrow.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized on the use of portal and informed that the portal shall be updated regularly and will be accessible on public domain.

The online portal shall be accessible at http://jammuddcresults.in. The portal will start actively displaying data of all DDC constituencies w.e.f. from 9AM onwards and all the public links for accessing the counting results shall also be visible thereafter.

She further informed that this portal will be convenient for all stakeholders for getting the counting results of all DDC constituencies and also further data analysis of all constituencies on the click of a button. She further informed that keeping in view the COVID19 pandemic, this online mechanism shall also be very effective in information outreach without any physical contact with individuals.

The portal has been developed in house by National Informatics District Centre Jammu headed by Technical Director & DIO,  Sanjay Gupta.

Among those who were present at the launch event were Additional Deputy Commissioner,  Satish Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Revenue & Nazool, Jasmeet Singh and Dy DEO, Gul Hussain .

Deputy Commissioner Jammu also lauded the efforts of DIO Jammu, Sanjay Gupta for bringing up this portal in a shortest possible time.
