Grievance redressal system made more vibrant: Advisor Sharma

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 24- Advisor to Lt. Governor K.K Sharma today said that the redressal of the issues being projected by the people has been made vibrant with the effective feedback from the ground level regarding disposal of the public grievances.

The Advisor was interacting with scores of deputations who called on him from different parts of the UT for redressal of their grievances.

A deputation of Federation of Industries led by its Chairman Rattan Dogra called for deferment of the recently issued circular regarding purchase of items and called for continuing the old practice of purchase being done by the SICOP as per the existing industrial policy.

A deputation of Bari Brahmana Industrial Association led by its President Lalit Mahajan called for issuing instructions for utilization of material extracted from different mines so that the industries associated with cement and other minerals do not suffer.

Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma also called on the Advisor and raised several issues related to the Municipality.

A deputation of seasonal teachers called for increasing their honorarium and regularization as well.

Village Welfare Trust Zaloora Sopore raised issues related to upgradation of electric infra in its area.

Deputation from Poonch raised several issues related to Rural Development like settlement of pending PMAY cases and also construction of different link roads.

Several other deputations also called on the Advisor and raised issues related to Education, R&B, Industries and Commerce, Tourism and Culture asking for quick redressal.

The Advisor assured the deputations that the issues and grievances projected by them would be resolved in a time bound manner.
