Jammu: Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Tejinder Singh, has visited Ramban district and reviewed the overall security situation with senior police officers, officials said on Friday.
The IGP was accompanied by DIG Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range Sargun Shukla, they said.
During the visit, Singh reviewed security arrangements in the district, with a focus on preventive policing, operational preparedness and protection of critical installations, officials said.
He stressed the need for proactive and responsive policing to further strengthen public confidence, they added.
