SRINAGAR: The District Srinagar Carrom Championship 2026-27 will be held at the Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex (SKISC), Srinagar, on October 7 and 8, organisers announced on Wednesday.
The championship is being organised by the District Srinagar Carrom Association under the auspices of the Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council under the “My Youth My Pride” initiative.
Organisers said the event aims to promote carrom at the grassroots level, increase youth participation and identify emerging talent from across Srinagar district.
The championship will provide local players an opportunity to compete, gain experience and showcase their skills at the district level.
Eligible players from Srinagar district have been invited to participate in the competition. Registration can be completed by emailing details, including name, parentage, address, date of birth, Aadhaar number, educational institution, gender, previous participation details and contact number, to jkcarrom.reg@gmail.com.
