Srinagar: Advisor to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Nasir Aslam Wani, on Saturday met several delegations and individuals at the Chief Minister’s Public Service and Outreach Office, ‘Raabita’, in Srinagar and reviewed a range of public grievances.
According to an official statement, the visiting delegations included local residents, employee associations and individuals who raised issues related to development works, media, land and revenue records, employment and service matters.
The Advisor heard the concerns projected by the delegations and took up the issues with the concerned departments and authorities for necessary action, the statement said.
Wani assured the visitors that their grievances would be examined and addressed in accordance with established procedures.
He said the government was focused on public welfare and remained committed to addressing issues affecting people across Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the statement, the Advisor said the administration was giving attention to public grievances and working towards resolving genuine issues in a time-bound manner.
The outreach programme forms part of the government’s efforts to provide a direct platform for citizens to raise concerns and seek redressal of issues related to governance and public services.
