Almuqeet FC is a football initiative of Almuqeet Systems Private Limited (ASPL), a Srinagar-based company headquartered at STPI Rangreth. The club aims to support football development in Jammu and Kashmir by creating a structured pathway for young players and building a competitive senior team.

The squad features players with experience in Youth National Teams, the I-League, Srinagar Premier Division and Kashmir Super League, backed by an experienced coaching and management setup.

Head Coach Muzamil Mahmood, who holds an AFC A Licence, said the team’s positive start was more important than the margin of victory.

“This is a new club and our vision is to provide a pathway to players and play quality football. The result matters less than the fact that we started well. This is only the beginning and we still have a lot to learn and improve,” he said.

ASPL Chief Executive Officer Zaffar Owais Andrabi congratulated the team on its debut win and said the club’s objective extends beyond results.

“Kashmir has a strong football culture and immense talent. We need better pathways, stronger structures and more opportunities for young players. Our aim is to build a club that helps footballers dream, develop and compete at higher levels,” he said.

The club said its focus in the coming seasons will remain on player development, consistency and establishing itself as a significant force in Kashmir football.
