DLIC approves 309 Mission YUVA cases in Bandipora

Bandipora: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Indu Kanwal Chib on Saturday reviewed the implementation of Mission YUVA in the district and chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC), during which 309 cases were approved.

Assistant Director Employment Dr. Amil Khateeb briefed the meeting on the status of various Mission YUVA parameters in the district and the measures being taken to improve performance under the scheme.

Reviewing the progress, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for timely processing of applications, proper handholding of beneficiaries and close coordination among all stakeholder departments to ensure effective implementation of Mission YUVA.

A total of 309 cases were placed before the committee for consideration. Following scrutiny and deliberations, all 309 cases were approved.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments and banking institutions to work in close coordination to ensure timely disbursement of sanctioned cases and facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs in establishing sustainable ventures.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Director Employment Bandipora, ARTO Bandipora, Cluster Head, J&K Bank, Functional Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC) Bandipora, District Nodal Officer, NABARD, Employment Officer Bandipora, District Programme Manager, NRLM, branch managers of J&K Bank, SBDU Lead and Business Help Desk leads from Bandipora, Sumbal and Gurez.
