Tangmarg: Special prayers were held at the Tangmarg residence of senior National Conference leader Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal after Friday prayers, with hundreds of people participating to pay tribute to the late leader.
The gathering was attended by National Conference provincial secretary Shaukat Ahmad Mir, Gulmarg MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah, party workers and local residents. Workers of several other political parties also joined the condolence meeting and offered prayers for the departed leader.
Meanwhile, special prayers for the eternal peace of Dr Kamal were also organised after Friday congregational prayers at the Central Jamia Masjid, Tangmarg, Baba Reshi and several other mosques in the area.
