Srinagar: Police on Friday claimed to have apprehended a drug peddler in Sopore.
During patrolling at Neharpora, police arrested Abid Fayaz Shah of Neharpora Bagh Ali Street Sopore, after a psychotropic substance was recovered from his possession, a police spokesperson said.
He said a case under Section 8/21 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore for further investigation.
