JKLA Speaker expresses grief over Pakherpora fire, seeks immediate relief

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Thursday expressed grief over the fire incident in Pakherpora area of Budgam district that damaged several residential houses and other property.

Expressing solidarity with the affected families, Rather conveyed his sympathies and prayed for strength and courage for those who suffered losses in the incident.

According to an official statement, the Speaker directed the district administration to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the damage caused by the fire and complete the exercise expeditiously to facilitate timely assistance to the affected families.

He also instructed the authorities to provide immediate relief and ensure all necessary measures for the rehabilitation and welfare of those affected.
