DC Bandipora reviews SANJY arrangements at Shadipora Transit Camp

Bandipora: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Friday night inspected the Shadipora Transit Camp to review arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2026.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected accommodation, sanitation, drinking water, healthcare, electricity, traffic management, security and other facilities put in place for the pilgrims. She also interacted with pilgrims to obtain feedback on the services being provided.

During the visit, Chib directed the concerned departments to maintain close coordination, ensure prompt response to any requirement and provide uninterrupted essential services throughout the Yatra to facilitate a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage.

According to an official statement, the pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the facilities and appreciated the services being provided by the district administration and the agencies associated with the Yatra.

The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with officers, field staff and other personnel deployed at the transit camp, appreciating their efforts in managing the pilgrimage and urging them to remain vigilant and responsive to the needs of the pilgrims.
