The Commissioner was informed that construction work is progressing satisfactorily and is currently underway at full pace. He reviewed the execution status and directed officers to ensure that the project remains on schedule.

Haseeb expressed satisfaction over the progress and stressed that completion of the project within the stipulated timeline should be ensured without compromising on quality. He directed officials to strictly adhere to approved technical specifications, engineering standards and quality control measures during all stages of construction.

The AEE informed the Commissioner that, if the current pace of work is maintained, the project is expected to be completed during the next financial year.

Once completed, the Council Hall will provide a modern and well-equipped facility for the proceedings and deliberations of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation Council. The project is expected to strengthen the Corporation’s institutional infrastructure and improve the efficiency of municipal governance and public service delivery.
