Rajouri honours cricketer Yudhvir Singh Charak for national achievements

RAJOURI: The district administration Rajouri on Tuesday felicitated cricketer Yudhvir Singh Charak in recognition of his achievements in Indian cricket.

Yudhvir, an IPL and India A-listed player from Rajouri, was honoured at a special function held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office complex.

The ceremony was led by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma and attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar Sihag, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Wali Mohammad, senior cricketer Ajaz Dar and sports enthusiasts from across the district.

Congratulating the young cricketer, the Deputy Commissioner described Yudhvir’s journey as a matter of pride for Rajouri and an inspiration for aspiring sportspersons. He praised his dedication, perseverance and hard work, saying his achievements had brought recognition to the district on the national cricketing stage.

Speakers on the occasion expressed confidence that Yudhvir’s success would encourage young athletes to pursue sports with commitment and determination. They also reiterated the district administration’s commitment to supporting and nurturing sporting talent.

The function concluded with the presentation of a memento to Yudhvir Singh Charak in recognition of his accomplishments and contribution to sports.
