POONCH: BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul chaired an organisational meeting at the BJP District Office in Poonch on Sunday to review ongoing party activities and discuss forthcoming programmes.
The meeting was attended by BJP District President Poonch Gurdeep Singh Khalsa, district office-bearers and senior party leaders.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the recently concluded International Yoga Day programmes and discussed reporting and documentation of activities conducted across various organisational units. They also deliberated on programmes being organised under the nationwide outreach campaign marking 12 years of the Government of India.
Addressing the meeting, Ashok Koul said the BJP’s strength lies in its disciplined organisational structure and dedicated cadre. He stressed the need to further strengthen the party at the booth and grassroots levels while ensuring effective implementation and reporting of organisational programmes.
He said the past 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government had been marked by development, good governance, transparency and public welfare, and urged party workers to take these achievements to the people. He also briefed participants about upcoming party programmes and called upon them to work with renewed dedication to expand the party’s outreach.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurdeep Singh Khalsa assured that the Poonch district unit would actively implement organisational directives and ensure the successful execution of forthcoming programmes. He emphasised the importance of maintaining regular public contact and strengthening the party structure at all levels to effectively communicate government policies and achievements.
