The Divisional Commissioner inspected the Yatra Camp at Lamber and reviewed arrangements related to accommodation, sanitation, drinking water supply, power availability, healthcare services and security.

He assessed the status of toilet installations, waste management systems, water supply infrastructure, electricity facilities and bedding capacity, directing the concerned departments to ensure that all facilities are fully operational well before the commencement of the Yatra.

Emphasising pilgrim safety, Ramesh Kumar instructed the district administration to put in place comprehensive fire safety measures at lodging centres, langar sites and other locations expected to witness large pilgrim gatherings. He also directed that fire tenders and emergency response teams remain fully prepared throughout the Yatra period.

The review was attended by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Banihal, and officers from various departments associated with Yatra management.
