Speaker expresses grief over fire incident at Darul Uloom Pakherpora

BUDGAM: Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, on Friday expressed deep grief over the fire incident that occurred at Darul Uloom in Pakherpora, Budgam.

In a statement, the Speaker conveyed his sympathies to the institution’s Intizamiya Committee and expressed relief that all students remained safe in the incident.

He thanked the Almighty for the safety of the students and directed the district administration to immediately assess the extent of damage caused by the fire.

Rather also asked the concerned authorities to provide prompt relief and all possible assistance to those affected so that they can overcome the difficulties arising from the incident.

The Speaker prayed for the well-being of all those associated with the institution and expressed hope for the early restoration of normalcy and functioning at Darul Uloom Pakherpora.
