Srinagar: Manoj Sinha on Friday met several delegations and individuals at Raj Bhavan.
Senior Congress leader Surinder Singh Channi called on the Lieutenant Governor and projected various issues related to the development of Tral and employment opportunities for local youth.
Meanwhile, Goverdhan S Rawat, Deputy Managing Director of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
In another meeting, a delegation of the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation led by its Chairman Nasir Ali Khan met Manoj Sinha and briefed him about the upcoming Youth Against Drugs National Sports Festival 2026.
The delegation informed the Lieutenant Governor that the festival aims to strengthen the fight against drug abuse among youth through sports and awareness initiatives.
According to the delegation, teams from eight states along with two teams from Nepal are expected to participate in the event, promoting the message of a healthy and drug-free society through youth engagement and sports activities.
