Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute Srinagar on Tuesday concluded the 9th Management Development Programme (MDP-9) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) initiative at its district office in Srinagar.
The programme focused on strengthening entrepreneurial and managerial capacities of 22 women entrepreneurs from Srinagar through structured training modules in business planning, financial management, marketing and regulatory compliance.
Officials said the training was aimed at helping participants establish sustainable and growth-oriented enterprises.
The valedictory session was attended by Shabir Hussain Shah and Syed Miftah Andrabi.
Addressing the participants, Shabir Hussain Shah appreciated their active participation and urged them to utilise the skills and knowledge gained during the programme to build scalable enterprises and contribute to local economic development.
He said such capacity-building initiatives under the RAMP programme are important for promoting grassroots entrepreneurship and empowering women entrepreneurs in the region.
Officials said the JKEDI course team provided continuous academic and mentoring support to participants during the training period.
Participants expressed gratitude to JKEDI for providing guidance and creating a platform to strengthen women-led enterprises.
The RAMP initiative is supported by the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and the World Bank and aims to improve the performance and competitiveness of MSMEs across Jammu and Kashmir.
