Bandipora: Deputy Commissioner Indu Kanwal Chib on Tuesday visited Eidgah Bandipora to review arrangements being put in place for the smooth observance of Eid-ul-Adha.
The visit was aimed at taking a firsthand appraisal of preparations and ensuring all essential facilities are available for devotees expected to participate in Eid prayers.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed sanitation measures, drinking water facilities, electricity supply, medical arrangements, traffic management and other essential services at the venue.
The DC also interacted with civil society members, Auqaf Committee members and local representatives and sought feedback regarding arrangements for the festival.
She directed concerned officers to ensure all necessary arrangements are put in place and stressed close coordination among departments for smooth and peaceful Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by the Tehsildar Bandipora, officers from various departments and other concerned officials during the visit.
