Officials informed the Army Commander about the use of technologies such as AI-assisted analysis, predictive systems, automated data processing and intelligent decision-support mechanisms designed to help commanders make faster and more informed operational assessments.

The visit highlighted the Indian Army’s increasing focus on integrating advanced technologies into operational systems under the broader framework of Army Vision 2047 and the ongoing “Decade of Transformation” initiative.

The TRINETRA AI Lab in Akhnoor is part of wider efforts to strengthen indigenous technological capabilities and innovation-driven military adaptation.

Lt Gen Sharma reviewed the initiatives in the context of future warfare preparedness, digital integration, network-centric operations and indigenous innovation being promoted under Army Vision 2047.

During his interaction with officers and personnel associated with the laboratory, the Northern Command chief appreciated their efforts towards developing practical technology-enabled solutions aligned with the Indian Army’s strategic objectives.
