Srinagar: Police in Shopian have attached a residential house constructed on six Marlas of land valued at ₹3,97,638 belonging to Sartaj Ahmad Mouchi resident of Shirmal Zainapora.
The property was identified as having been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal trade of drugs and narcotics, police spokesperson informed.
He the attachment proceedings were carried out in the presence of a police team, Executive Magistrate, Lambardar and Chowkidar, ensuring full compliance with all legal procedures and maintaining transparency.
Police spokesperson also said that simultaneous narco-cordon and search operations were launched at 20 locations across Anantnag on Sunday.
“K9 (dog) squads deployed. Ops target peddlers, kingpins, financiers, & hideouts. Action based on NDPS leads & intel,” police said in another post on X.
