BOPEE conducts CET for GNM, ANM courses

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations on Sunday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for GNM and ANM Courses-2026 for the academic session 2026-27 at designated centres across the Union Territory.

In the Kashmir division, the examination was held at Amar Singh College, KGP Gogjibagh, SP College Srinagar and Government College of Education.

In the Jammu division, the test was conducted at Government SPMR Commerce College and Government MAM College.

Officials said 2,548 candidates appeared in the examination out of 2,995 applicants.

Adequate arrangements were made in coordination with the respective college administrations and law enforcement agencies under the guidance of BOPEE Chairperson Minu Mahajan to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.

The test was conducted under the supervision of staff members from the respective institutions and colleges, with no reports of any untoward incident or unfair means.

The Chairperson, along with BOPEE members, Secretary, Controller of Examinations and other officials, monitored the examination process in Srinagar and Jammu.

They appreciated the efforts of the staff of the institutions and colleges, as well as officials deployed under the supervision of Deputy Commissioners at district headquarters, for ensuring smooth conduct of the entrance test.
