Addressing party workers, Sat Sharma said the BJP has evolved from a cadre-based ideological movement into the world’s largest democratic political organisation because of its commitment to nationalism, organisational discipline and public service.

He said the party draws inspiration from the ideals of Deendayal Upadhyay, Syama Prasad Mookerjee and other nationalist leaders who dedicated their lives to nation-building.

Sunil Sharma spoke about the transformation in Jammu and Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A. He said the move ended decades of discrimination and paved the way for inclusive development, transparency and stronger democratic institutions.

He said the region has witnessed major development in infrastructure, tourism, connectivity, healthcare and welfare schemes under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul addressed the district-level training camp of Rajouri district on the theme “Vichar Parivar.”

Rajya Sabha MP Gulam Ali Khatana, former BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina, District Prabhari Munish Sharma and District President Nowshera Dev Raj Sharma were also present.

Ashok Koul said the BJP is not merely a political party but part of a larger ideological family committed to nationalism, cultural values and social harmony.

He said organisations associated with nationalist ideology collectively contribute towards nation-building while preserving India’s civilisational ethos.

In another workshop organised in Ramnagar for Udhampur district, BJP J&K General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, District President Arun Gupta and MLAs R. S. Pathania, Balwant Singh Mankotia and Sunil Bhardwaj participated in the programme.

The leaders also inaugurated an exhibition showcasing the BJP’s organisational journey, achievements and public welfare initiatives.
