Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma emphasized the role of Urban Local Body units in strengthening the party at the grassroots level and enhancing public service delivery. He said BJP activists remain dedicated to public service throughout the year and are fully prepared to face elections whenever announced.

The BJP leader urged party workers to intensify outreach efforts and expose what he termed as the failures, anti-development policies and governance model of the National Conference government before the public.

Highlighting the party’s performance in the previous Urban Local Body elections, Sat Sharma said the BJP had emerged as a dominant political force by securing maximum representation across 36 Urban Local Bodies and one Corporation in Jammu and Kashmir. He said the results reflected public trust in the party’s development-oriented agenda and nationalist ideology.

Ashok Koul spoke about the organisational structure of the party and announced convenors and co-convenors for newly constituted units at various local body levels to improve efficiency and strengthen public outreach.

He said strengthening booth-level and local body structures remained a priority to ensure effective implementation of party programmes and policies at the grassroots.
