Srinagar: A group of prominent political activists from the Charar-e-Sharief constituency in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday joined the Apni Party during a function held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.
Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with senior party leaders, extended a warm welcome to the new entrants and expressed hope that their inclusion would further strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
According to a party press release, the joining took place during a special induction event attended by several senior leaders, including Ghulam Hassan Mir, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Abdul Majeed Paddar, Farooq Andrabi, Mohammad Shafi Mir, Owais Ashraf Shah, Zaffar Habib, and Sheikh Nissar, among others.
Those who joined the party included Dr. Mohammad Maqbool (retired Principal), Ghulam Mohiudin Mir, Aijaz Ahmed Sheikh, Mohammad Shafi Rather, Abdul Rehman Bhat, Mohammad Shafi Bhat, Fayaz Ahmed, Irfan Rehman, Majid Ahmad, Muzamil, Sahil Ahmad, Bashir Ahmed Yatoo, and others, all residents of the Charar-e-Sharief constituency.
Party leaders said the new entrants would play a vital role in strengthening the party’s outreach and engagement in the constituency.
