Srinagar: Police in Sopore have arrested three persons for “spreading misleading information and sharing old videos by portraying them as recent incidents, with the intent to disturb public peace and order.”
Police said a case (FIR No. 93/2026) was registered at Police Station Sopore against individuals involved in spreading rumours through various social media platforms, following which police identified and apprehended the involved persons.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
