Vaibhav Kohli appointed as J&K Excise Commissioner, two officers shifted to LG’s Secretariat

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday appointed Vaibhav Kohli as the new Excise Commissioner and also shifted two officers to the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.

M Raju, Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), issued the order on the transfers and postings on the directions of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

According to the order, Vaibhav Kohli, who was Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, has been transferred and posted as the Excise Commissioner. Subash Chander Chhibber, who was holding the post, shall await further orders of adjustment in the GAD.

Ranjit Singh, Special Secretary in the Home Department, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.

Similarly, Sunil Sharma, Additional Secretary in the Home Department, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
